A Dream Years in the Making

The idea of impacting more lives with services that add real value has been sitting with Wilton Otto since 2019. Born from a background of service and community impact, this wasn't just an entrepreneurial dream—it was a deep, persistent calling.
WilGlobo was born out of this intense desire to serve and give value. The name itself carries depth: "Wil" represents the will, grit, and determination to excel against all odds. "Globo" reflects understanding the world's challenges and the global perspective needed to address them.
We operate in a social enterprise mindset—despite not being a full-blown social enterprise entity, we strive to support and customize our services to serve the core needs of our clients with genuine impact.
Then came the $18,000 wake-up call.
Wilton was helping a small consulting firm in Calgary get quotes for a basic website. The quotes came back: $15,000. $18,000. $22,000. Entrepreneurs weren't paying for solutions—they were subsidizing agency infrastructure. Having built businesses across four continents, he knew there had to be a better way:

From Dream to Impact—Building Something Different
2019–2023: The Seed. The vision of creating accessible, value-driven services began taking shape in Wilton's mind—fueled by years of community service and a deep understanding of the barriers entrepreneurs face globally. While working full-time with international nonprofit and philanthropic organizations, he was already offering web design services to clients free of charge via opikom.com—planting the seeds for what would become WilGlobo.
2024: The Launch. WilGlobo was officially incorporated with a clear mission: make professional digital services accessible to every entrepreneur, regardless of budget or background. We saw too many talented founders held back by $15K website quotes and gatekept resources—and we decided to change that.
2024: Digital Equity Hub. We launched our flagship platform with founder-friendly pricing—proving that quality doesn't have to cost a fortune. We helped dozens of small businesses establish professional online presences at a fraction of traditional agency costs.
2025: Ecosystem Expansion. We introduced AI-powered tools like the Growth Advisor, launched Gigworkers Launchpad for aspiring entrepreneurs, and began building platforms like Mentors Hub and Mindset Hub to support founders at every stage of their journey.
